It can be an anxious time visiting medical specialists or dentists without the added worry of how long it will take and whether you’ll be able to get a parking space. Perhaps you can’t drive or can’t afford the cost of a taxi which would cost you almost $200 return to attend Tauranga Hospital.
The easy, affordable and stress-free alternative to driving yourself
The Omokoroa Health Shuttle is the easy, stress-free solution to getting to your appointments on time and we’ll be there to bring you home too. A $30 donation is all that we ask to cover our costs and bookings need to be made before 4pm the day before your appointment.
Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons as needed
We can carry up to three passengers per trip. If space allows, we may also be able to include one support person per passenger — please let us know when booking.
The shuttle will wait in Tauranga until 5pm before departing. Call 020 431 0051 if your appointment is running over.
$30 suggested donation per trip. This service is funded by your donations, community contributions, and the generosity of our sponsors.

On the afternoon or evening before your appointment, the shuttle driver will contact you to confirm your pickup time and location.

Be ready at the time given by the driver — this may be earlier than your appointment time, as we may be transporting others to different locations.
